About Us
Travel is our shared passion. Over we’ve been lucky to visit many amazing places, initially with our three daughters and more recently as a couple. Before travelling, David (the “Planning Guy”) researches which cities to visit and the best places to stay, dine and drink. In particular, we hunt down stylish, beautifully designed places. And Anne-Marie (the “Creative Eye”) has always taken lovely photos.
Friends have often asked us share our itineraries, to save time and be confident of having a great trip. And this was the inspiration for The TRIP {COLLECTION}. It’s our way of capturing and sharing our collections of curated trips to beautiful places, all tried & loved by us. There are no ads, affiliate links, nothing to sell: no business model at all! It’s a pure passion project.
There are hundreds of travel websites and blogs already published. So, we’ve tried to bring a few new things to the party:
- Each trip is a curated collection of beautiful places, selected based on lots of research using sources like Condé Naste Traveller, Vogue and Mr & Mrs Smith
- Every place we write about, whether a city, hotel or restaurant, is a personal recommendation based on our own travels
- Our collection is designed for discerning global travellers who enjoy the good things in life, so our focus is on the higher end of travel experiences. However, the itineraries can be adapted to any budget!
We do hope that sharing our favourite trips inspires you to make some memorable travel moments of your own!
